So I chanced upon how someone shared that her computer was damaged or something. It's those kind like... You know, beyond self-repair kinda thing. So she sent in her computer for repairs and it amounted to close to $700, which included the repairs and the services. To her, it's like.. Wah lao! For nothing pay so much money. She felt really upset and sian about it.
Then as she was about to exiting, someone came into the shop and exclaimed out loud that his shop which was located opposite just got broken in. And he lost about $20,000 worth of cash. :O!!! So she ended off by saying that she felt somewhat better, since it could have been worse, just like that poor chap. Perspective.
I could really relate to this since I just got my newly installed tempered glass broken after just a day or two when I got it. I felt like crap because it cost about $40 and It didn't even last me a week! But... Perspective, my friend (me). It could've been my phone lcd screen that was broken and it could have cost me a lot more money to replace them. I remembered how Megan spent like soooo much money replacing all her damaged screens. It could have been me, but the Lord shielded me from it.
In this perspective, I am SO glad it was the tempered glass that broke, and not my iPhone screen.
Sometimes we just need to look at it from different perspectives. Things might just be a blessing in disguise, or at least, a prevention of something worse to come.
I feel so much better now. Hallelujah. Thank You J.
Happy #MLKDay guys. Always remember that darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only Love can. Brilliant Martin Luthur King quote. :)
