REVIEW: Sudio Nivå True Wireless Earphones

Since my first pair of Sudio earphones awhile back, I'm glad they are finally launched their first wire-less earbuds - the Sudio Niva. The good folks from Sudio sent a set over, and I was really excited to get my hands on them.

With more smartphones dropping their headphone jack, these bluetooth connected earphones are definitely handy, and trust me, once you go wireless, you won't want to go back anytime soon!

Sleek and Fashionable Design

These earphones are definitely one that catches the eye. From the minute you open the case to view them, you'll notice how sleek and fashionable they really are. I also think that the design is quite functional and straightforward in the sense that its quite a no-brainer as to how to use the charging case, as well as how to charge the earphones in the case itself.

The charging case is also equally sleek, and its not too big as well. Definitely fits well in most bags as well as your jeans pocket.

Sudio definitely aced their design for this product.

Easy Paring with Smartphones

The Sudio Niva is also easy to pair with most smartphones. I always believe that a good wireless earphones needs to be easy to be paired with, and this is one area which they also excel in.

All you need to do is to press and hold the button on the earbuds for less than 2 seconds, and they'll be switched on. You can then proceed to pair it via bluetooth. The best part is, once you paired it for the first time, the next time you just need to switched them on and it'll automatically pair with the device for you.

That's also definitely a plus point for me.

Taking Calls

Taking calls is also easy with the earbuds on. Most smartphones should be able to to pick up their calls with the Sudio Niva, rather than from the smartphone itself. 

However, the main difference here is when you do pick up a call with the Sudio Niva, only one side of the earphones will be used - the right side. Both audio and your microphone will be on the right side, rather than on both.

It takes awhile to get used to it, given then if you're listening to music and a phone call comes in then.

Battery Life

In terms of battery life, which in my opinion is also an important factor for a good pair of wireless earphone, a fully charged Sudio Niva can last you about 3.5 hours, as indicated in the box.

The charging case is actually in-built with a 500 mAH battery, which gives you approximately about 3-4 full charges. So that will take you about up to 11-12 hours of battery life. 

I would say that, that would be really ideal for long travels, especially on long flights.

Also, the Sudio Nivå comes with a manual, Micro-USB charging case, and extra silicon sleeves. Altogether, you get three different sizes of silicon sleeves.

Conclusion
