63 Degree cafe + Not so interesting life + Random

Hello world. It just occurred to me that, actually its quite hard to be a consistent blogger. I mean, you gotta have like really colourful lifestyle and all right? Since you gotta be blogging more often than usual and then... Yeah. You kinda need that everyday-got-something-nice moments to worth the blogging experience? Haha.

Maybe I just need to be more creative and entertaining. Oh well. Anyway, had the most mundane week ever. It's just like work and work and the usuals after work kinda thing. But I did try a coffee place near my workplace and I thought it was a pretty good place to chill out kinda place!

63 Degree Cafe

It's actually located at Asia Square. I know right. Everything here looks really expensive for a usual lunch. It can probably stretched you from close to 20ish dollars? All I'm saying is a Ten dollar note probably can't fill your stomach so much at Asia Square. Haha.

Got introduced to this cafe and decided to just give it a shot. I guess the name of the cafe says it all uh? They believe that coffee shouldn't be too hot to fully maximise its pleasure, or rather, its purpose. They believe that coffee should be served at 63 degree Celsius. Hmmm.

Quite a cool concept eh? But of cus la. You can also request for a pipping hot cup, if you like your coffee that way.

We got their Mocha ($6) and their regular white ($4.50). It's actually not too bad their prices. Oh but I think this is really called the free favours of God man. A friend of mine got her Mocha at their menu price, but I only got my flat white at like $3! I was rather shocked at first, since Its my first visit here and all that. So I asked her why so random the prices?

"Oh. It's okay la. Just wanna give you discount"

Haha. Wow.... ;-)

Anyway, the place is pretty decent too. I would say it would be a nice place to meet people and all that. Yup. :)

Random shots!

I thought I was rather artistic in the above picture. No?

Yes. I'm going for the Hillsong United Concert in June. I'll see you cool people there.

So after Titus and Charis' Wedding Holy Matrimony earlier, since I was kinda plan less for the day and I've struggled with the thought of cutting my hair... I decided to just go for it.

Let's just say that it's a rather distinct change of hairdo now? I'll share with y'all the new hairdo soon! Ciaos.

The not so exciting life + Jeyna's random surprise birthday dinner at Skinny Pizza + a random thought

I've always wonder how do people do life in such a way that, it's always so exciting and filled with many many happenings daily? I mean, do they have like, plans almost every other day as well as the day itself? Hah. Wouldn't that be really bussssyyyy and all? I guess I'll never know until.... Yeah. No until. Oh well.

--

In other news, Friday night was suppose to be a night where I work late at work... Then just to reward myself a little bit for working so hard the entire week, I decided that and then to just head town to shop. Shop for a birthday present, in particular! But I figured that I should reward myself too. Haha.

Out of nowhere, a familiar voice flew from afar!

"LARRY KOH!"

Haha. Rachel was shopping alone as well and we bump into each other at Takashimya! She honestly gave me a shock. Hah. But since we were both looking for presents... we thought we should do so together! So.. off we walk back to Ion in search for gifts and lo and behold, we bump into Jochebel! Oh my. Apparently, Jochebel, Mel and Jeyna were meeting up to celebrate Jey's 19ths birthday. So at the end of the day... this happened. Hahaha.

We all decided to just feast together @ Skinny Pizza Wheelock! Hahaha. How amazing. Decided to "surprise" Jeyna since she weren't there yet and AGAIN, we saw Sam there too! So she was kinda like, part of the "surprise" too! Hahaha. Epic I tell you. Epic!

Ordered the Meatball pizza ($24) and Turkey ham pizza ($24),  as well as some of their side dishes. Was quite meh that we had to pay for ice water too. Oh well.

In anycase, I thought that Skinny pizza was quite ordinary. I mean, I always had the impression that It was rather good. I guess not now? :\

Mandatory Selfie!

Blessed 19th birthday Jeyna! You're blessed beyond words could ever say! :-)

Cafes in my area + The Tiramisu Hero + Claire's Recital

Met some of my favourite people in the world last night for dinner and then to the cousin's cafe! I know right. I think I visit her cafe so often that I should totally be the permanent member or something. Hah. I am just glad that the Tiramisu Hero is located really near my place. Actually... like what Tboi said, my place is filled with cafes. And other things too... which I shall NOT mention here. HAH.

I am blessed to have SOOOOO many cafes near my place. In recent times, there are actually alot new cafes setting up in the Owen Road / Tyrwhitt road area. I can at least name you like, 3 of them on hand now?

1.) L'etoille Cafe.

It's located at Owen road, near the small little junction that leads to dorset road. I've been there like a couple of times before. Love to decoration and stuff. Love EVEN more than I can just walk down in less than 3 mins, and I get to have my decent cup of coffee.

I've not tried the food yet, since I'm always working late and all that. But I heard it's pretty decent stuff? I'll try it soon I suppose!

2.) P Bistro

This is another cafe located really near L'etoille! It's like literally a few shops away only. What I like about this cafe is the simplicity of the cafe. I've taken a glanced at their menu and it's actually pretty simple stuff there.

Yet to try this place though. Soon!

3.) Cakes Literally

This is another one that i've yet to try, but on first look, it looks pretty decent. Will talk about it more once I have more insight about it.

Of cus the list goes on and on and on... Haha.

All in all, I am just glad that I GET to live in this neighbourhood. In the words of Mr Foo Yong Jie, "This place is actually a very nice place to live in sia. No wonder Larry's always on time for everything."

;-)

Went for Claire's Recital earlier! This girl here is finally graduating from Lasalle! A star in the making man. Mark my words guys. Amen.

I thought Claire did pretty good just now. Those original songs of hers are definitely inspiring in some sense; ignite the songwriting passion within me again. Haha. The band of hers that supports her were all quite tight too. A very good job done in other words! :-)

Till next time, folks! ;-) Blessed Mid week!
