Lay Me Down

Can I lay by your side?
Next to you, you
And make sure you're alright
I'll take care of you
I don't want to be here if I can't be with you tonight

There is only so much that a person can withstand, so much a person can hang on to hope. They say hope never fail, but does hope really never fail?

Yes. Hope never fail. I still believe in that. But as of now, it's really hard to comprehend how all these will eventually turn out to victories for me. It's hard to believe when all you see around you are broken-ness and desperations. I just can't.

It's probably one of those moments where I need to lay me down again, at the foot of the Cross. And to live and believe in as simply as I could possibly do. Because that's where people start from, don't they? That's where people once again get their hopes on, don't they?

That's where people once again dream of dreams and once again hope for hopes that can bring them to so many places, far beyond all they can ever dream or hope of.

That's where people pick up again.

And that's where I will pick up again.

Out.
