Romans 828.

There are moments where you are just all alone by yourself in the house.

Early in the morning, before the sun even rise to work, a strange sound from the back of the house emerged out of nothing. The next thing I know, "bang" was the only sound that was heard.

I knew that the door was slammed. That rather old cranky door that will never fail to stir up such an impact that I'll ALWAYS be awaken just by the closing of the door.

Strange happenings early in the morning, Lord? Got right up to investigate, with my eyes still half shut.

Found out that my entire family has already left the house. For work, for meeting, for camp. Wow. Not that it's something new, but I was clearly not expecting a moment like this today.

Normally, Dad and Mum's work would only commence at 8.30am sharp. Sometimes, as late as 9am too. So I'm rather used to be waking up with someone around, rather than emptiness.

And somehow, even though I was as tired as I normally was, I did not have any desire to sleep no more. Got right up to start my day.

Only to realise that... What exactly is starting my day, today? After washing up and stuff, to on the television in hope of a nice programme to watch? To switch on my laptop/desktop to just do my usual routine of twitter, facebook, gmail? Or to make myself a nice little breakfast all alone?

Just as I was feeling rather arghy already, the bible in the midst of nowhere caught my attention. I decided the best thing to do early in the morning would be to spend time with God. Read His word. Get that daily manna meant for me.

Romans 828 somehow ALWAYS appear as my first verse. Always. I highly suspect God place an invisible bookmark at that particular page, as a result of me always flipping to that page.

But each time I read that verse again and again, It just opens up my day nicely.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose"

In ALL things that happened, regardless of whatever it is, bad or good stuff, happy or sad, it will WORK OUT FOR THE GOOD FOR THOSE WHO LOVE CHRIST!

No matter how lousy the day before is, no matter how angry I got with myself in camp or at home, these situation WILL WORK OUT FOR GOOD FOR I LOVE CHRIST and HE LIVES IN ME!

I must say that I can never get tired of reading it. It always nv fail to make me smile all over again.

Thank you Jesus.
