First off, I've duty to do! Which is happening.... like tomorrow. Oh well. Its some 24 hrs thingy that requires me to stay over and stuff. Honestly, I mean like, after the whole air force school day, I didn't really think I HAVE to stay over in another camp any longer. Oh well.
And the most worrying part is, duties are like really common here and its gonna happen till the day I ORD.
And then there's the whole 20th 21st thingy! I heard everyone who's in this camp is involve. The most argh part about it is that its just one day after camp plus its a arrow Saturday and church Sunday! Oh dear.
I felt like I'm gonna miss out alot alot this month.
But one thing I also know for sure.
And that's that I'll not be shortchanged. I will have my own special portion from the Lord. :-)
I don't know about you but, that's more than enough for me! Those simple words from God for me is more than enough to change everything. I do believe that it shall be greatly rewarded BACK to me from God Himself. Amen.
And so in camp today, I was just feeling realllllllllllyyyyyyyyy bored. There I saw my bible. I decided to just randomly flip around like how man of God always do. Like sometimes, the verse would just stand out and that particular verse would be the one that you most likely need!
And wow. I came across this verse that I thought was just so for me.
Philippians 4:6–7
6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Wow Lord. Wow.
Be anxious for NOTHING, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let MY requests be made known to God! The peace of GOD HIMSELF, which surpasses ALL understanding, will guard MY heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
Wow.
And so, before I left camp earlier, I whispered to myself a simple prayer. A prayer of faith that I will receive my portion in due time. :) I've never left camp smiling this wide before. Hah.
And the following is just a double confirmation for me.
Reached home. Did my usual routine. Checked my email and stuff.
And I'm amazed again.
Because my daily devotional from church usually comes a day later, I've no idea why, but yeah. I went to read June 02 2009's daily devotional, which I just received today.
It has the exact same verse from the one I read in camp!
Wow. :8)
I like the last part of this devotional texts.
"God is true to His Word. As you pray this prayer and cast your care to Him, you will find His peace setting your heart and mind at rest. So be anxious for nothing — let the One with whom nothing is impossible take care of it for you!".
Amen and Amen. :)
And because I prayed, It shall be good! Amen.
