Of trials and temptations faced along the way.

When we look at our journey of life, Damn. We do have a lot of trials and temptations to face in this lifetime. One whole lot of them.

Some are big, some are small. Some are long, some are short. Some are minor that deals no damage upon our lives, some are rather major that creates a big hole somewhere along the path.

But regardless of its style and characteristics, its still the same thing altogether now. Its still called trials and temptations. Its there for a reason I suppose.

Some may say its from God. Others might fight the case of being part and parcel of life. But I for one would say that these ain't from God. It never was. But what meant for us could be turned out for HIS glory, since all things worked out for good for those who are in Christ.

Part and parcel of life? You'd bet! Name me one person who did not get tempted at all for his short lifespan called life. Even Jesus was tempted by the devil. The Son of God was tempted. How much more us?

But there's one big difference between Him who got tempted, and some of us, which includes myself, who gets tempted.

The big difference is the way we handle it. The way we manage it. And the way we learn from it.
Jesus got tempted and He WAS tempted. But He did not succumb to it. He overcame it. If He can do it, so can we in this world. SO CAN WE!

And then again, some may argue that it's different cos he's TRUE son of God and He is God. The argument will go on and on and on and it will never come to an end.

But one thing's for sure, one may argue from any point of view, but from what I look at it, and from how I'm gonna look at it from today forth.

Trials and temptations are there for a sole purpose of building me up to be a better person. Mistakes I will learn, and never commit them again. And as much as these issues come along my path of life, as much as it's gonna affect me from any angle whatsoever, I know that deep down inside, I'm still righteous in His glory and there's nothing that can change that fact.

Mistakes we will make, but we'll learn and never commit them again. Never.

Of trials and temptations faced along the way of life? For He have overcame it. So can you.

Amen.
