#OccupySG #OccupySIM - The first of many to come!

Finally. Yesterday was the day where #OccupySG #OccupySIM kicked off. After some much effort were placed in the preparation and stuff like that, we were all excited about it man! I mean, after all it's the first time we're doing it in school and stuff like that. Nervous? Butterflies in the stomach? It's a little of both I guess!

Gathered the team at about 1145am in the morning. Briefed them on the game plan, prayed a prayer over my team and I and we got the ball rolling!

So... the main theme of this was teacher's day. To just be thankful for the teachers and stuff. Some really creative friend of mine designed this and we got them printed out, to distribute them out to the lecturers and teachers.

Pretty well designed card eh!? I thought it was brilliant man! Good job, Eloise! :)

Apart from that, we've also taken another step by wanting to bless out fellow students in school! So here are some of the other stuff that we blessed the folks with! :)

1.)     Random post-its filled with words of encouragments/blessings/cheesy-pickup lines that are meant for laughter and smiles.

2.)     Tissue boxes

Went to the only foodcourt in SIM, and placed them down on random tables for people to use.

The words written on the post its were all along the line of like, "Be blessed! here are some tissue on us. Please do not take the entire box away!" Hah. Just gotta add that last line in. ;-)

3.)     Apples!

These apples come along with Clara's stickers of encouragement. It says, "You are the apple of God's eye". Clara designed each sticker differently from the rest. This girl has talent in this man! Have you guys seem Font Clara yet? It's her font! A font that looks like how any Tumblr font would look like.

4.) Random sweets and snacks!

Of cus. How can we do this without blessing people with em' right!? Hahaha. These are given out along with the above post-its. We just go around SIM and distribute them out randomly to people. I love how some of their reaction were just more than just shocked or surprised. Some people even commented like, "why are these people so nice?" Haha. Exactly. That's us. :) That's what #OccupySG is all about. Loving people. Being different from the world to make a difference.

Honestly, I felt that after doing this amazing love movement, I feel even more blessed now. Like how I told my team before we started that, you know, as much as we are blessing the people in SIM, we are actually setting ourselves up for a bigger blessing from God Himself. Because we can NEVER outgive God. You think God has given you alot already? You ain't see nothing yet man. Hah.

We checked on Instagram for #OccupySIM and saw some of the people instagramming our gifts and random acts of kindness. Definitely did make us smile and feel happy thereafter. But I'm always reminded that even if there isn't ANY of that, I would still do it. My team and I are not here to do all this just to make ourselves feel good whatsoever with ur tags on Instagram. We are just here to be indifferent. To love people. That's about it. :)

This is the group of people that I did this with. Couldn't have done it alone without their selfless act of kindness. Appreciate y'all much! :)

Looking forward to the next one already!

Truly I submit myself to you. It is indeed more blessed to give than to receive. :-)
