The Wild Honey experience

For this year, to avoid all the jams and crowds and people and queueing up, I decided to celebrate Valentine's day 2 days after the actual day itself - Wednesday!

Maybe because on the actual day itself, things were all going haywire and stuff? Plus the fact that she wasns't feeling too good that day too? It remains to be seen.

Been wanting to try out this place for the longest time already. Ever since I last saw pictures of that place from a friend's facebook account, and the fact that my close friends were all telling me about how the portion is huge and stuff, and that it's actually not bad itself, I told myself that I need to try out this place some day.

And so that day came to past. :)

Forgot to take a decent picture of their signboard! So I went to "kope" from their website. Hahaha. So tadah. Here's the wild honey sign! Quite intriguing huh?

Pretty cosy enviroment la I would say. Plus all the nice little comfy cushions too. Makes a good place to chill and just relax after a long day's worth of work.

Somehow, I was told not to blog a picture of her. So... a picture of me then! Hah.

And here's what we had! Since I am always a hungry dude when it comes to the evening part of the day, I was kinda hoping for a portion that was of a decent size, totally forgetting what my friends were telling me of is huge portion. And lo and behold, my prayer came true! Hah

This is called, English. :)

At least from their menu.

Huge chunks eh? You'd bet!

1.) Some tender fatty Bacons, which I thought that Nic and Yj would love,

2.) A nicely roasted tomato, which is REAL juicy.

3.) Lots of little chunks of potatoes

4.) A decent size of sausage, which is covered by the potatoes in the picture

5.) 2 slices of toasted bread that actually taste pretty awesome,

6.) Mushrooms! My favourite of the night. :)

7.) And a little cup of... something that taste similar to chilli/curry? it has onions in it.

Here's the other order that was ordered that night.

This dish is called, I love New York.

Maybe this is what New yorkers eat for breakfast daily? Hah. I don't know.

But what it contains is a really nice bagels, with fish... err... Fish filled omelette? That omelette tasted fantastic though. :)

And their special cheese butter thingy for the bagels! We figured that why this dish cost 2 dollars more expensive that the one above, is prolly due to this special cheese butter filling. :)

Of cus, tomatoes!

So, overall, I would say that my wild honey experience is pretty good. Certainly lived up to its expectations at least~. Will I go back again? Most probably yes. Since I love the food and all. It could be a little pricey due to the fact that it's serving BREAKFAST style food and not proper meal kinda food. But yeah. I'll be back. :)

Chanced upon this outside, above a really comfortable couch, that's located in a corner. Hahaha. Thought it was rather amusing.
