As most of you would already know, the previous 100m sprint record was beaten. It use to be a very outstanding time of 9.72 second in the previous record. And trust me, 9.72s is already very impressive for a 100m sprint.
But the record isn't staying up there any longer, after the recent 1o0m sprint finals at the Beijing Olympics 2008. Yes, it was broken.
Usain Bolt of Jamaica took the fastest man on the planet record of a superb 9.69 seconds! Whoa. That is one fast guy right there.
Though it was just a difference of 0.03second, that's a huge difference already in terms of the 100m sprint! Every sec count, even the slightest difference of time would prove otherwise.
It's such a pity that there's this copyright thingy on Youtube, that THAT 100m record breaking video is not made available for us all to view once more.
But, here's another video of Bolt smashing and winning the 200m series.
He basically outran his opponent.
How fast can this guy be!? The question remains.
But nonetheless, the fastest guy on the planet, Usain Bolt.
